Very good. Ate lunch here a number of times and it's really good and well priced. I don't think they are open for dinner, so just be aware of that.
Good Viet on the cheap. The vermicelli with shredded pork and Dao Vien soup I got here were respectable Vietnamese/Chinese food, not outstanding, but not bad. What was great was the price. The good-sized bowl of noodles, super-fresh salad and an adequate amount of somewhat underseasoned pork shreds only cost $8. The soup was a cornstarch-thickened Chinese style chicken broth with a little bit of everything in it -- thick flat noodle pieces, mushrooms, bits of chicken, pork, fake crab, green peas (cooked al dente -- good on 'em for not being mushy) plus more. It was more like a cup's than a bowl's worth, but it was just $5. The checkout girl undercharged me by a dollar, so I walked out with a docket of only $12, woo-hoo! That's excellent for a meal that was filling, healthy, and thanks to the vacuum flask of hot green tea on a cool rainy day, it was warming too. I like this place.
BEST broken rice with pork chop, combination fried noodles and spring rolls! Definitely my favourite if you want tasty cheap Asian food
